The UKNF has been awarded a certificate of conformity of its Information Security Management System (ISMS) with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard for the following scope:

• performance of statutory tasks related to supervision of the financial market and providing support to the KNF Board.

The certification was preceded by an audit performed by an independent certification body TÜV NORD.

Holding the certificate means that the UKNF has implemented a professional Information Security Management System (ISMS) which guarantees an effective protection of all types of data. The certificate also confirms that the UKNF operates in accordance with the best international standards and practices.

‘The security of storage and processing of information has always been one of the UKNF’s priorities. The ISO 27001 certificate confirms that the tools and procedures implemented at the UKNF to keep information secure are effective and that risks are constantly monitored’, said Bartłomiej Getlich, Director of the Information Security and Protection Department – Director responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the ISMS.
