International cooperation

The UKNF as a beneficiary of assistance projects

The projects are aimed at strengthening the administrative and institutional capacities of the UKNF in the field of acquis communataire regarding the financial market. Moreover, implementation of the projects helps enhance the security and stability on the financial market. 

- Twinning Light Contract between the UKNF and the Italian supervisory Consob (Transition Facility 2006, contract PL2006/IB/FI/04TL-A)

- Twinning Light Contract between the UKNF and Austrian Financial Market Authority – FMA (Twinning Light Contract PL2006/IB/FI/05TLA)

- Strengthening the institutional and administrative capacities of the UKNF to address the new supervisory tasks resulting from the implementation of the European Union law

- Project for regulatory amendments proposed by the Ministry of Finance and the UKNF in the area of FinTech, supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

- Strengthening the capacity in the area of supervision of the insurance sector as part of the SRSP-EIOPA suport 

- Support for the development of a national strategy for financial education in cooperation with the OECD

- Support in the area of sustainable finance – supervisory capacity enhancement  

- Enhancing institutional capacity in the area of innovative finance – Digital Finance Academy
