Technical support for the UKNF under the Structural Reform Support Programme
Assistance initiatives to support the capacities and competence of Poland’s financial supervisor
The Polish Financial Supervision Authority is a beneficiary of technical support financed from the funds of the EU Structural Reform Support Programme for the period 2017 to 2020.
The Structural Reform Support Programme (SRSP) is an initiative of the European Commission adopted by Regulation (EU) 2017/825 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2017. The general purpose of the Programme is to support institutional, administrative and structural reforms to boost the economic growth in Member States. The Programme is addressed to domestic institutions, mainly ministries as well as central and local government units, and aims to ensure support in introducing structural reforms. The available support covers policies relating to the financial sector. The time to apply for financial support under the Programme has been 2017–2020, during which four rounds of application have been held. The Programme is managed centrally by the Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM) at the European Commission (EC).
